Meet Gourav SinghFounder, Guitar & Vocal Teacher — 19+ Years of Experience

Gourav Singh is one of Lucknow's finest musicians and music educators. A Trinity-qualified guitar teacher and vocal tutor, he has over 19 years of experience in music education and has taught more than 12,500 students — including students from the United States, Australia, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, China, Austria, France, Germany, Dubai, the Netherlands, Spain, and 25+ countries in total.

He is passionate about teaching music from the absolute basics through to advanced technique, and has built The Acoustican Guitar Classes around that same philosophy.

Training and Musical Background

Gourav learned vocals at the Bhatkhande Institute of Music, Lucknow, and studied under the late Pandit Ravi Nagar Ji, a respected musician and theatre artist. This formal grounding in Indian classical music, combined with his guitar training, shapes how he approaches teaching — building technical fundamentals first, then developing each student's own musical voice.

Recognition and Achievements

Gourav has judged several notable music competitions, including The Tamasha festival, Singing Idol Uttar Pradesh, La Martiniere College Fest, and Singing Hunt. His own performance achievements include:

• Top 200, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2016)

• Winner, Indian Classical Vocal Competition, Lucknow Youth Festival

• Winner, Lucknow Natya Kala Festival (Vocals)

Recording Work

As a musician, singer, composer, and lyricist, Gourav has recorded two albums: Loneliness and Young Ministry.
